You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched by notifying us by e-mail or letter. Once the order has been dispatched, you can cancel it by e-mail or letter within seven working days from the day after receipt. You must return the goods to us within thirty days of receipt. the cost of the items will be refunded on receipt of the goods in the same condition as they were sent. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items to us, unless the items were faulty, or we delivered them in error.

These terms are for compliance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

In the unlikely event of a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days. We will keep you informed throughout the complaint handling process and give you an estimate of how long it will take to resolve the complaint.

If any item on your order is out of stock, we will contact you and advise you of the expected delay. You will be given the option to wait for the item to be delivered, or cancelling your order for that particular item.

Any errors in your order must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

We confirm that we meet our obligations under the consumer protection laws currently in force including :-

Acceptance of orders

Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of your offer until we send you an email notifying you that we have despatched a product to you. At this point, a contract will be made between us for you to buy and us to sell the products that you have ordered from us. 

At any point up until the contract is made, we may decline to supply a product to you. If we decline to supply a product to you and you have already paid for it, we will give you a full refund of any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our return and refund policy.

Delivery information

We aim to dispatch all goods within 24 hours of receiving your order, subject to payment/credit clearance and stock availability. Same day dispatch cannot be guaranteed on orders placed after 3pm.

Your parcel will be delivered via Second Class by the Royal Mail at normal Royal Mail delivery times, however, heavier orders maybe dispatched using couriers and should arrive within 3 working days.

Express shipping is a 24-48 hour delivery service during the 5 day work week. This service will take longer over weekends and bank holidays.

Pre Orders

We aim to offer our customers the most up to date Lamaze range and we will often advertise new lines that are becoming available throughout the year as PRE ORDERS. We will always advertise a guide availability date with the items, however we can not guarantee that these dates will not change over time due to delayed release by head office. Please take this into consideration if ordering as a gift or if you need this item by a specific date.

Shipping rates

For UK deliveries only: Free delivery on all orders over £50.00. Minimum shipping cost on all other orders is £1.95. Maximum shipping cost on all other orders is £5.00 (except express shipping).

Orders are calculated based on weight and buying more items will give a reduced charge overall.

Setting the correct delivery type

The basket page allows you to choose between UK delivery, EU (European Union) delivery and Worldwide delivery. When you change the delivery type, the order total will be updated to show the appropriate delivery charge.

Please note that you must select the appropriate delivery type on the basket page, based on the delivery address for the order. If you choose a type whose cost is lower than required (for example, choosing UK delivery, but giving a non-UK address at checkout), your order may be held until the excess delivery charge is paid.

Delivery address

You will be able to enter the delivery address when you go to Google Checkout or PayPal (whichever you choose). Note that this address will be used for delivery, even if you specify a different one with Google or PayPal.


In the event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase from Playlearn, you may return it within 30 working days for a refund or exchange. Customers should indicate whether they prefer a refund or an exchange for an alternative size, colour or style.

Subject to the goods being returned in the condition in which they were dispatched, (unused, undamaged and with all original manufacturers packaing and tags attached) a refund or exchange will be arranged.

We will refund the amount paid for the goods and will not refund postage charges that were paid or that you have incurred. If a product is faulty we will refund the original postage charge.
